Dodgers Fans Criticize Manager Dave Roberts Over Shohei Ohtani's Injury

Hindustan Times · sports

Los Angeles Dodgers fans are criticizing manager Dave Roberts for keeping Shohei Ohtani in the lineup despite ongoing left knee and right biceps discomfort. Ohtani's recent performances have fallen below his usual standards, with no home runs since August, fueling concerns about his physical condition. Despite discussions about benching him, Roberts has continued to play Ohtani, even moving him back to the leadoff spot. Fans argue that the manager should make the difficult decision to rest the star player rather than relying on his willingness to play through pain.
