Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh has been reappointed for a second consecutive five-year term, extending his tenure until October 2031. His second term officially begins on October 8, 2026, following an order from the Ministry of Education. This reappointment makes him the first Vice-Chancellor since 1950 to receive two consecutive terms, enabled by a 2023 amendment to university rules. Singh's continuation provides leadership stability as Delhi University implements the National Education Policy 2020, including curriculum reforms and a four-year undergraduate program.

दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के वाइस चांसलर योगेश सिंह को दूसरे लगातार पांच साल के कार्यकाल के लिए फिर से नियुक्त किया गया है, जिससे उनका कार्यकाल अक्टूबर 2031 तक बढ़ गया है। शिक्षा मंत्रालय के एक आदेश के अनुसार, उनका दूसरा कार्यकाल आधिकारिक तौर पर 8 अक्टूबर, 2026 से शुरू होगा। यह पुनर्नियुक्ति उन्हें 1950 के बाद पहले ऐसे वाइस चांसलर बनाती हैं जिन्हें विश्वविद्यालय के नियमों में 2023 के संशोधन के कारण लगातार दो कार्यकाल मिले हैं। सिंह का जारी रहना दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के नेशनल एजुकेशन पॉलिसी 2020 को लागू करने के दौरान नेतृत्व की स्थिरता प्रदान करता है, जिसमें पाठ्यक्रम सुधार और चार साल का स्नातक कार्यक्रम शामिल है।
