Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang and his wife Lori have donated $30 million to Stanford University, funding the Jen-Hsun Huang Engineering Center. Opened in 2010, the center houses over 270 faculty, staff, and students, fostering interdisciplinary research and collaboration. It features workshops for prototype building, the NVIDIA Auditorium, and the Terman Engineering Library. Huang, an alumnus, stated the donation aims to provide a space for students and teachers to innovate and build a better future. The center is designed to encourage interaction across engineering, science, and medicine disciplines.
