Agarwal expressed interest in sectors like power generation and an aluminium smelter plant, stating that major investments would follow with administrative support. The Chief Minister confirmed Agarwal's proposal for a unit in Asansol, which could create up to 10,000 jobs. This meeting is part of the state government's push for industrial investment and job creation.

वेदांता ग्रुप के चेयरमैन अनिल अग्रवाल ने पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी से मुलाकात कर राज्य में लगभग ₹70,000 करोड़ के निवेश के अवसरों पर चर्चा की। अग्रवाल ने बिजली उत्पादन और एल्युमीनियम स्मेल्टर प्लांट जैसे क्षेत्रों में रुचि दिखाई और कहा कि प्रशासनिक सहयोग से बड़े निवेश होंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने आसनसोल में एक यूनिट के लिए अग्रवाल के प्रस्ताव की पुष्टि की, जिससे 10,000 तक नौकरियाँ पैदा हो सकती हैं। यह बैठक राज्य सरकार के औद्योगिक निवेश और रोजगार सृजन को बढ़ावा देने के प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।
