IIT Bombay's Techfest Offers National AI Challenge Pathway for Students
Hindustan Times · education
IIT Bombay's Techfest has introduced a pathway for students to engage with artificial intelligence through a national AI challenge called SparkX. This initiative begins with the Global Learning Foundation (GLF) AI Olympiad, a 60-minute exam accessible to students in Grades 3-10. The Olympiad tests AI literacy, covering topics from basic AI concepts for younger students to generative AI and Python programming for older ones. Top performers are invited to participate in SparkX at Techfest, providing early exposure to a technical environment and fostering curiosity and problem-solving skills beyond traditional academics.
