Shastri, Krishi Bhawan to be vacated by Sept

Government departments have been instructed to vacate Shastri Bhawan and Krishi Bhawan by the end of September. These buildings, constructed in the 1950s and 1960s, will be demolished to make way for Kartavya Bhawan 4 and 5. The construction of these new buildings is part of the Central Secretariat redevelopment project. The tender for KB-4 and KB-5 has been re-floated at a cost of ₹3,155.41 crore, an increase of nearly 5% from the original estimate.

शास्त्री, कृषि भवन सितंबर तक खाली होंगे

सरकारी दफ्तरों को सितंबर के अंत तक शास्त्री भवन और कृषि भवन खाली करने का आदेश मिला है। ये पुरानी इमारतें, जो 1950-60 के दशक में बनी थीं, अब गिरा दी जाएंगी। इनकी जगह कर्तव्य भवन 4 और 5 बनेंगे। यह सेंट्रल सेक्रेटेरिएट रीडेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्ट का हिस्सा है। KB-4 और KB-5 के लिए ₹3,155.41 करोड़ का नया टेंडर निकाला गया है, जो पिछले अनुमान से करीब 5% ज्यादा है।
