Libyan authorities have seized approximately 100,000 narcotic pills smuggled from Europe. The XTC tablets, commonly known as ecstasy, were found concealed inside a cargo van. Officials reported that the pills were shaped like the face of the ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi. The seizure was made by the Deterrence Agency for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime in Tripoli. This operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking into the region.
