BRS Leader Harish Rao Accuses Congress Govt. Of Failing Minorities

BRS leader T. Harish Rao has accused the Congress government of failing to keep its promises to minority communities. He stated that the promised allocation of ₹4,000 crore for minority development has not been met, with current spending around ₹1,300 crore. Rao highlighted that the previous BRS government had increased the minority budget from ₹300 crore to ₹1,800 crore. He also criticized the significant reduction in overseas scholarships for minority students, from ₹1,550 crore under BRS to just ₹14 crore under Congress.

बीआरएस नेता टी. हरीश राव ने कांग्रेस सरकार पर अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों से किए वादे पूरे न करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अल्पसंख्यकों के विकास के लिए ₹4,000 करोड़ का जो वादा किया गया था, वह पूरा नहीं हुआ है और अभी तक केवल ₹1,300 करोड़ ही खर्च हुए हैं। राव ने बताया कि पिछली बीआरएस सरकार ने अल्पसंख्यकों का बजट ₹300 करोड़ से बढ़ाकर ₹1,800 करोड़ किया था। उन्होंने अल्पसंख्यक छात्रों के लिए ओवरसीज स्कॉलरशिप में भारी कटौती की भी आलोचना की, जो बीआरएस के ₹1,550 करोड़ से घटकर कांग्रेस के शासन में सिर्फ ₹14 करोड़ रह गई है।
