Delhi's Jantar Mantar No Longer a Protest Site; New Locations Designated

Delhi Police have removed Jantar Mantar from the list of protest sites following demonstrations against the Chief Election Commissioner. Protests will now be permitted at Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground in East Delhi. The move comes after a Supreme Court hearing where concerns were raised about the duration of protests, security near Parliament, and basic amenities at Jantar Mantar. The court had previously suggested finding alternative locations with better facilities for peaceful demonstrators. Ramlila Maidan is the closest new site to Parliament, while Burari Ground is the furthest.
