दिल्ली सरकार ने दिल्ली इंडस्ट्रियल पॉलिसी 2026 को मंज़ूर कर दिया है, जिसका मकसद अगले एक दशक में राजधानी को एक आधुनिक, टेक्नोलॉजी पर आधारित इंडस्ट्रियल हब बनाना है। इस पॉलिसी के तहत 2026-27 से 2030-31 तक के लिए मुख्यमंत्री उद्यमीश्री योजना हेतु ₹1,000 करोड़ का प्रावधान किया गया है, जिसका उद्देश्य नए उद्योगों को बढ़ावा देना और रोज़गार बढ़ाना है। यह एडवांस्ड टेक्नोलॉजी, डेटा सेंटर और हेल्थकेयर जैसे क्लीन, हाई-वैल्यू सेक्टर को बढ़ावा देगी, जिसमें कैपिटल इन्वेस्टमेंट, डिजिटल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और R&D के लिए प्रोत्साहन दिए जाएंगे। इस पहल का लक्ष्य निवेश आकर्षित करना, मौजूदा व्यवसायों को आधुनिक बनाना और युवाओं के लिए रोज़गार के महत्वपूर्ण अवसर पैदा करना है।
