Bible Verse Offers Comfort When Plans Unravel Readers Advised to Allow for Change

TOI Astrology · spirituality

When meticulously laid plans fall apart due to unexpected cancellations or setbacks, a Bible verse offers guidance. Proverbs 16:9 suggests that while humans devise their way, the Lord directs their steps, implying that divine purpose ultimately shapes outcomes. This doesn't negate the importance of planning, but rather encourages flexibility and acceptance of change. The verse advises committing works to the Lord and praying over plans, suggesting that even disrupted paths can lead to meaningful destinations. It encourages leaving room for adjustments and expecting at least one change in any endeavor.
