NCERT अल्पसंख्यक सेल ने 23 अक्टूबर को मेघालय में 2026-27 शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए अपनी पहली बैठक की। बैठक में अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के लिए स्कूल पहुंच में सुधार, ड्रॉपआउट दर कम करने और शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण को मजबूत करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। सिफारिशों में NISHTHA और CPD जैसे व्यावसायिक विकास कार्यक्रमों को बढ़ाना, अल्पसंख्यक-संचालित स्कूलों पर डेटा एकत्र करना और क्षेत्र-विशिष्ट अनुसंधान करना शामिल था। चर्चाओं में भाषाई विविधता, सामुदायिक भागीदारी और सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं का दस्तावेजीकरण भी शामिल था। सेल का उद्देश्य विविध समूहों के लिए बाधाओं को दूर करके और शैक्षिक अवसरों में सुधार करके समावेशी और समान शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देना है।
