The court cited concerns over a pattern of compensation claims against government agencies based on allegedly favourable reports prepared by revenue officials. Justice Jagmohan Bansal noted that similar petitions have been filed against agencies like HSVP, HSIIDC, and NHAI. The investigation aims to ascertain the actual position of the disputed land and determine if officials prepared incorrect reports, potentially leading to criminal proceedings.

पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने गुरुग्राम के शिकोहपुर गांव में एक भूमि विवाद की विजिलेंस जांच का आदेश दिया है। अदालत ने राजस्व अधिकारियों द्वारा कथित तौर पर पक्षपातपूर्ण रिपोर्टों के आधार पर सरकारी एजेंसियों के खिलाफ मुआवजे के दावों के पैटर्न पर चिंता जताई। जस्टिस जगमोहन बंसल ने कहा कि HSVP, HSIIDC और NHAI जैसी एजेंसियों के खिलाफ इसी तरह की याचिकाएं दायर की गई हैं। जांच का उद्देश्य विवादित भूमि की वास्तविक स्थिति का पता लगाना और यह निर्धारित करना है कि क्या अधिकारियों ने गलत रिपोर्ट तैयार की, जिससे आपराधिक कार्यवाही हो सकती है।
