Inspired by her brother, 16-year-old Gunisha Kaur has established over 20 pollinator gardens and ecological restoration projects across multiple Indian cities through her initiative, Buzzing Blooms. These chemical-free urban spaces are designed to support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, while also providing accessible outdoor environments for children with different sensory needs. Monitoring showed a 155% increase in pollinator species richness and nearly 200% rise in bee visits. Gunisha's work aims to foster biodiversity and inclusion, earning her third place at the International Young Eco-Hero Awards.
