Kerala to Enhance Sabarimala Pilgrimage Security Measures

Kerala is strengthening security arrangements for the upcoming Sabarimala pilgrimage to ensure pilgrim safety and convenience. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala chaired a high-level meeting reviewing police preparations, emphasizing the virtual queue system and inter-state coordination with neighboring states. The plan includes deploying Rapid Action Force, conducting mock drills, and improving facilities at key locations like Sannidhanam, Pampa, and Nilakkal. Additional parking space will be created, and vehicle fitness will be monitored. CCTV surveillance will be bolstered, and mandatory police verification for commercial establishment workers is planned.

सबरीमाला तीर्थयात्रा के लिए केरल में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी की जा रही है। गृह मंत्री रमेश चेन्निथला ने एक बैठक में पुलिस की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने वर्चुअल क्यू सिस्टम और पड़ोसी राज्यों के साथ तालमेल पर जोर दिया। रैपिड एक्शन फोर्स की तैनाती, मॉक ड्रिल और सन्निधानम, पम्पा, नीलकक्कल जैसे स्थानों पर सुविधाओं को बेहतर बनाने की योजना है। अतिरिक्त पार्किंग और वाहनों की फिटनेस जांच भी होगी।
