AIADMK Accuses Ministers of Horse Trading, Seeks Governor's Action

The AIADMK has submitted a representation to Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, alleging that ruling party ministers are attempting to lure away its MLAs. Party MLA Agri S.S. Krishnamoorthy stated that the representation included media reports of a minister claiming about 15 AIADMK functionaries would join the ruling party. The AIADMK is seeking action against these ministers for alleged 'horse trading' of legislators. The party also informed the Governor about an alleged artificial electricity shortage created to justify expensive power purchases.

एआईएडीएमके ने तमिलनाडु के राज्यपाल आर.एन. रवि को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा है, जिसमें आरोप लगाया गया है कि सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के मंत्री उसके विधायकों को लुभाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। पार्टी विधायक ए.जी.आर.आई. एस.एस. कृष्णमूर्ति ने कहा कि ज्ञापन में एक मंत्री के मीडिया रिपोर्ट शामिल थे, जिसमें दावा किया गया था कि लगभग 15 एआईएडीएमके पदाधिकारी सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी में शामिल होंगे। एआईएडीएमके विधायकों की कथित 'खरीद-फरोख्त' के लिए इन मंत्रियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग कर रही है। पार्टी ने राज्यपाल को महंगी बिजली खरीद को उचित ठहराने के लिए कथित रूप से बनाई गई कृत्रिम बिजली की कमी के बारे में भी सूचित किया।
