Kanwar Yatra Boomboxes Exceed Delhi Noise Limits

Loudspeaker-mounted trucks during the Kanwar Yatra in east Delhi have been recorded at 110 decibels, significantly exceeding legal noise limits. This level is comparable to a chainsaw at close range, more than 30 decibels above permitted levels. The excessive noise raises concerns about public health and adherence to noise pollution regulations during large public gatherings. The law appears to be disregarded, causing significant disturbance.

पूर्वी दिल्ली में कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान लाउडस्पीकर लगे ट्रकों से 110 डेसिबल तक शोर रिकॉर्ड किया गया है, जो तय सीमा से बहुत ज़्यादा है। यह आवाज़ एक चेनसॉ के बराबर है और तय सीमा से 30 डेसिबल से भी ज़्यादा है। इतने ज़्यादा शोर से लोगों की सेहत और ध्वनि प्रदूषण के नियमों पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। ऐसा लगता है कि कानून की धज्जियाँ उड़ाई जा रही हैं, जिससे लोगों को काफी परेशानी हो रही है।
