Over 4 Million Russians Apply For Online Voting

More than four million Russians have applied to vote remotely in the upcoming State Duma elections. Central Election Commission Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova stated that over 2.9 million applications were submitted via the 'Mobile Voter' system. Registration for remote electronic voting in 32 regions concluded on September 14. Residents in a total of 33 regions can vote online, with Moscow residents exempt from preliminary applications. The elections are scheduled for September 18, 19, and 20.

आगामी स्टेट ड्यूमा चुनावों के लिए चार मिलियन से ज़्यादा रूसियों ने दूरस्थ मतदान के लिए आवेदन किया है। सेंट्रल इलेक्शन कमीशन की चेयरवुमन एला पैम्फिलोवा ने बताया कि 'मोबाइल वोटर' सिस्टम से 2.9 मिलियन से ज़्यादा आवेदन आए। 32 क्षेत्रों में ऑनलाइन वोटिंग के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन 14 सितंबर को बंद हो गया। कुल 33 क्षेत्रों के लोग ऑनलाइन वोट कर सकते हैं, मॉस्को के निवासियों को पहले से आवेदन नहीं करना होगा। चुनाव 18, 19 और 20 सितंबर को होंगे।
