West Bengal's Health Department has intensified dengue surveillance following the identification of a new Aedes mosquito species. State Health Minister Dr. Sharadwat Mukherjee confirmed the presence of Aedes lineatopennis, a type of Aedes mosquito, in the state. This discovery necessitates increased monitoring and preventative measures to control potential outbreaks and safeguard public health against the spread of dengue fever.

पश्चिम बंगाल के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने डेंगू की निगरानी बढ़ा दी है। राज्य में Aedes mosquito की एक नई प्रजाति Aedes lineatopennis पाई गई है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. शरदवत मुखर्जी ने इसकी पुष्टि की है। इस नई प्रजाति के मिलने से डेंगू के संभावित प्रकोप को रोकने और लोगों के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा के लिए ज़्यादा निगरानी और बचाव के उपाय ज़रूरी हो गए हैं।
