समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव ने दावा किया कि लगातार चुनावी हार के बाद भाजपा ने ज़मीन खो दी है और उसका राजनीतिक ग्राफ लगातार गिर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा को लोकसभा और विधान परिषद चुनावों में झटका लगा है, और आरोप लगाया कि लोग कुशासन और भ्रष्टाचार से तंग आ चुके हैं। यादव ने भाजपा पर घबराहट में साजिशें रचने का आरोप लगाया, उसे "लोकतंत्र का दुश्मन" कहा और मतदाता सूची में हेरफेर के खिलाफ सतर्क रहने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा कि 2027 का विधानसभा चुनाव लोकतंत्र को बचाने की लड़ाई होगी।
