Indian boxers who win medals at the upcoming Asian Games will gain direct entry into the 2027 World Boxing Championships. This event serves as the first Olympic qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Games. The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) announced this policy to maximize boxer participation in the Olympics. Medallists will be main entries, with national championship gold medallists as reserves.
