Murder Charge Sought Against CJP Founder Over Senior Citizen's Death During Mumbai Protest

The Shivaji Park Citizens Forum has requested police to file a murder charge against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke. This follows the death of a senior citizen during a CJP protest on October 2 at Shivaji Park. A police complaint has been filed seeking action against Dipke. Separately, an FIR was registered against protest organisers and hundreds of unidentified supporters under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maharashtra Police Act. The protest was against the Election Commission and alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision exercise.
