Drought Reveals Mammoth Fossils In Bulgaria

Record low Danube river levels due to drought in Europe have led to a significant fossil discovery in northern Bulgaria. Volunteers are now searching the exposed riverbanks near where mammoth bones were found in July. The search, organized by the Regional Museum of History of Ruse, aims to uncover more ancient fossils and artifacts.

यूरोप में सूखे की वजह से डेन्यूब नदी का जलस्तर रिकॉर्ड निचले स्तर पर पहुँच गया है। इससे उत्तरी बुल्गारिया में जीवाश्मों की एक बड़ी खोज हुई है। जुलाई में मैमथ की हड्डियाँ मिलने वाली जगह के पास, अब स्वयंसेवक नदी के खुले किनारों पर खोज कर रहे हैं। रुसे के रीजनल म्यूजियम ऑफ हिस्ट्री द्वारा आयोजित इस खोज का मकसद और प्राचीन जीवाश्म और कलाकृतियाँ खोजना है।
