Bandhan Financial Services, the promoter of Bandhan Bank, plans to gradually reduce its stake to meet Reserve Bank of India norms. The promoter must lower its shareholding to 26% by 2030. Currently, the stake stands at 37.54%. The promoter is not planning a bulk sale, opting instead for small, incremental sales likely on the open market. This strategy aims to comply with regulatory requirements over the next few years.
