Oil prices experienced a decline on Friday as concerns over West Asian supply eased following US President Donald Trump's statement that the US will not attack Iran before the upcoming elections. Trump indicated productive discussions are underway to end the conflict disrupting the market. Brent crude futures fell 0.7% to $103.53 a barrel, while US WTI crude futures dropped 0.6% to $90.97. Despite this, Brent prices are poised for weekly gains due to earlier attacks on crude-carrying ships. The market also contends with Hurricane Isaias impacting US Gulf Coast production.
