Opposition Bloc Demands CEC Resignation, Return to Ballot Papers

The INDIA bloc presented a four-point memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. INDIA गठबंधन ने राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को एक चार-सूत्रीय ज्ञापन सौंपा, जिसमें मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (CEC) ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग की गई है। उन्होंने चुनावी रोल के विशेष गहन संशोधन को समाप्त करने, 13.30 करोड़ हटाए गए मतदाताओं की बहाली और सभी चुनावों के लिए मतपत्रों पर वापसी की भी मांग की। विपक्ष कई राज्य विधानसभा चुनावों का हवाला देते हुए, व्यापक 'वोट चोरी' और EVM तथा चुनावी रोल में हेरफेर का आरोप लगा रहा है। वे चुनावी प्रक्रिया में इन कथित अनियमितताओं को दूर करने और लोकतंत्र में विश्वास बहाल करने के लिए राष्ट्रपति के हस्तक्षेप की मांग कर रहे हैं।
