75% Agniveers to Get 2-Year Service Extension Before Diwali

Agniveers recruited under the Agnipath scheme will now have the opportunity to serve for an additional two years after completing their initial four-year tenure. This decision effectively extends their total service period to six years. Approximately 75% of the first batch of Agniveers are eligible for this two-year extension, which is entirely voluntary. Those who wish to continue can apply for permanent cadre positions after their extended service, provided they meet the selection criteria.

75% अग्निवीरों को दिवाली से पहले मिलेगी 2 साल की सेवा विस्तार

अग्निपथ योजना के तहत भर्ती हुए अग्निवीरों को अब अपनी शुरुआती चार साल की अवधि पूरी करने के बाद दो साल तक सेवा करने का मौका मिलेगा। इस फैसले से उनकी कुल सेवा अवधि छह साल तक बढ़ जाएगी। अग्निवीरों के पहले बैच में से लगभग 75% इस दो साल के विस्तार के लिए पात्र हैं, जो पूरी तरह से स्वैच्छिक है। जो लोग जारी रखना चाहते हैं, वे अपनी विस्तारित सेवा के बाद स्थायी कैडर पदों के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं, बशर्ते वे चयन मानदंडों को पूरा करते हों।
