Sonam Wangchuk Loses 8.2kg on Hunger Strike

Activist Sonam Wangchuk has lost 8.2kg on the 17th day of his hunger strike in Ladakh. He is protesting against the delay in granting constitutional safeguards and statehood to the Union Territory. Wangchuk is demanding the implementation of the Leh Accord and the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.

लद्दाख में एक्टिविस्ट सोनम वांगचुक 17वें दिन की भूख हड़ताल पर हैं और उनका 8.2 किलो वज़न कम हो गया है। वे केंद्र शासित प्रदेश को संवैधानिक सुरक्षा और राज्य का दर्जा देने में हो रही देरी का विरोध कर रहे हैं। वांगचुक लेह समझौते और संविधान की छठी अनुसूची को लागू करने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
