NIA Arrests Another Accused in JMB-Linked Terror Conspiracy in West Bengal

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested an additional accused from West Bengal in connection with a terror conspiracy by an offshoot of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). The accused was allegedly involved in expanding JMB's activities in India through clandestine meetings, indoctrination, and digital radicalization. This arrest follows the apprehension of 13 individuals for similar involvement. The NIA's investigation revealed a plot to spread extremist ideology and recruit youth in West Bengal and the Northeast. Several digital devices were seized from the latest arrestee.

नेशनल इन्वेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी (NIA) ने जमात-उल-मुजाहिदीन बांग्लादेश (JMB) के एक गुट की आतंकी साजिश के सिलसिले में पश्चिम बंगाल से एक और आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह आरोपी कथित तौर पर गुप्त बैठकों, ब्रेनवॉशिंग और डिजिटल कट्टरता के जरिए भारत में जेएमबी की गतिविधियों का विस्तार करने में शामिल था। यह गिरफ्तारी इसी तरह की संलिप्तता के लिए 13 लोगों को पकड़े जाने के बाद हुई है। एनआईए की जांच में पश्चिम बंगाल और पूर्वोत्तर में चरमपंथी विचारधारा फैलाने और युवाओं की भर्ती करने की साजिश का खुलासा हुआ है। नवीनतम गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति से कई डिजिटल उपकरण जब्त किए गए हैं।
