The Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation with Gujarat ATS, has intercepted a suspicious Iranian dhow in the Arabian Sea. Approximately 526 kg of heroin and methamphetamine, valued at around ₹3,000 crore in the international market, were seized. Five Pakistani nationals were apprehended during the operation. This significant bust is considered a major blow to international drug trafficking networks operating via sea routes. The operation aligns with the government's 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' initiative to combat drug abuse.
