Hindustan Times · education

Professor Yogesh Singh has begun his second term as Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, making history as the first Indian to be reappointed to the position. His reappointment follows a 2023 amendment to university statutes, which now permits a second five-year term for a VC. Singh, previously appointed in 2021, oversaw key initiatives like the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme and CUET admissions during his first tenure. This change allows for continuity in leadership and implementation of university policies.
