Lalbagh Botanical Garden to get new garden

Bengaluru's Lalbagh Botanical Garden is set to feature a new 2.5-acre garden inspired by Singapore's Gardens by the Bay. The Karnataka State Department of Horticulture is introducing advanced fog and mist technology, utilizing ultra-fine nozzles imported from Germany. This technology will help cultivate over 50 different species of shade- and mist-loving plants sourced from across India. The project also includes constructing check dams to collect approximately 20 crore litres of rainwater, ensuring sufficient water supply for the new garden and recharging groundwater.
