ED Summons Ex-Minister Ambati Rambabu in Scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former Minister Ambati Rambabu in connection with an alleged ₹250-crore liquor transport scam. Notices were served on Friday, directing him to appear for investigation on September 24. Rambabu, a senior YSR Congress Party leader, is alleged to have had close associations with YSRCP leaders who secured the liquor transport contract. These leaders reportedly caused significant losses to the government during the previous administration's term.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने कथित ₹250 करोड़ के शराब परिवहन घोटाले के संबंध में पूर्व मंत्री अंबती राम बाबू को तलब किया है। शुक्रवार को नोटिस जारी कर उन्हें 24 सितंबर को जांच के लिए उपस्थित होने का निर्देश दिया गया है। वरिष्ठ YSR Congress Party नेता राम बाबू पर उन YSRCP नेताओं से करीबी संबंध होने का आरोप है जिन्होंने शराब परिवहन का ठेका हासिल किया था।
