Mayawati Demands Regularisation of NHM Contractual Staff in UP

Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati has demanded the regularisation of contractual employees working under the National Health Mission in Uttar Pradesh. She urged the state government to include these workers in its recruitment plans, especially in light of the announcement to provide one lakh government jobs. Mayawati stated that outsourcing and contractual employment are exploitative arrangements, particularly in the government sector. Thousands of NHM workers have been protesting in Lucknow for permanent employment, with their agitation ongoing for several days.

बहुजन समाज पार्टी की अध्यक्ष मायावती ने उत्तर प्रदेश में नेशनल हेल्थ मिशन (NHM) के तहत काम करने वाले संविदा कर्मचारियों को नियमित करने की मांग की है। उन्होंने राज्य सरकार से इन कर्मचारियों को अपनी भर्ती योजनाओं में शामिल करने का आग्रह किया है, खासकर एक लाख सरकारी नौकरियां देने की घोषणा के मद्देनजर। मायावती ने कहा कि आउटसोर्सिंग और संविदा रोजगार शोषणकारी व्यवस्थाएं हैं, खासकर सरकारी क्षेत्र में। लखनऊ में हजारों एनएचएम कर्मचारी स्थायी रोजगार के लिए विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, और उनका आंदोलन कई दिनों से चल रहा है।
