Trump Says US Must Stop Killing Iran Leaders To Identify Negotiation Partners

NDTV · world

Former US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States must cease assassinating Iranian political and military leaders. He believes this action is necessary to understand who the US is actually dealing with in Iran. Trump's comments come in the context of reported airstrikes in the initial weeks of a conflict, which allegedly resulted in the deaths of several top Iranian figures, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This statement suggests a shift in approach towards diplomatic engagement over targeted eliminations.
