Thiruvananthapuram Mayor, BJP Councillor Face Forged Signature Case

A case has been registered against Thiruvananthapuram Mayor V.V. Rajesh, the Corporation secretary, and BJP councillor K. Sugathan over an alleged forged signature. The complaint was lodged by a CPI(M) councillor after Mr. Sugathan was detained under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act. The FIR states the accused conspired to forge Mr. Sugathan’s signature in attendance books to prevent his disqualification from council meetings. The case involves charges of forgery, criminal conspiracy, and making a false document under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

तिरुवनंतपुरम की मेयर वी.वी. राजेश, निगम सचिव और बीजेपी पार्षद के. सुगाथन के खिलाफ कथित तौर पर फर्जी हस्ताक्षर के मामले में केस दर्ज किया गया है। यह शिकायत एक CPI(M) पार्षद ने तब दर्ज कराई जब श्री सुगाथन को केरल असामाजिक गतिविधियां (रोकथाम) अधिनियम के तहत हिरासत में लिया गया था। FIR में कहा गया है कि आरोपियों ने परिषद की बैठकों से उनकी अयोग्यता को रोकने के लिए उपस्थिति रजिस्टर में श्री सुगाथन के हस्ताक्षर की जालसाजी करने की साजिश रची थी। इस मामले में भारतीय न्याय संहिता के तहत जालसाजी, आपराधिक साजिश और झूठा दस्तावेज बनाने के आरोप शामिल हैं।
