A temple in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh, dedicated to Maha Lakshmi, has drawn significant attention during the Shardiya Navaratri festival. The deity was adorned with garlands made from approximately ₹4.5 crore in currency notes. This special decoration, which took about 15 days to prepare using notes contributed by devotees, aims to attract visitors and reflect the collective participation of believers. The notes will be returned to the devotees after the festival, with many believing they bring good fortune and prosperity.

आंध्र प्रदेश के अमलापुरम में महा लक्ष्मी को समर्पित एक मंदिर ने शारदीय नवरात्रि उत्सव के दौरान काफी ध्यान आकर्षित किया है। देवी को लगभग ₹4.5 करोड़ की मुद्रा नोटों से बनी मालाओं से सजाया गया था। भक्तों द्वारा दिए गए नोटों का उपयोग करके लगभग 15 दिनों की तैयारी में हुई इस विशेष सजावट का उद्देश्य आगंतुकों को आकर्षित करना और विश्वासियों की सामूहिक भागीदारी को दर्शाना है। उत्सव के बाद नोट भक्तों को वापस कर दिए जाएंगे, कई लोग मानते हैं कि वे सौभाग्य और समृद्धि लाते हैं।
