Palakkad police have detained the male friend of Nivedya, the woman accused of murdering her two children in Kozhinjampara. The man, who lived near the rented house where Nivedya stayed, is now being questioned by the investigating team. The victims, Jennifer Juliet, 5, and Robin Christopher, 3, were found dead in a water tank on September 29. While Nivedya initially claimed she killed them to pursue her career, new suspicions suggest the murders may have been committed to facilitate her living with her male friend.
