Jharkhand Launches 12-Day Door-to-Door Drive To Identify Eligible Voters

Jharkhand has initiated a 12-day 'Home-To-Roll' verification drive from November 1 to ensure all eligible citizens are included in the electoral roll. Booth level officers will visit households to identify individuals missed in the draft roll or those who haven't submitted necessary forms. This exercise aims to update the permanent electoral record before the final roll's publication on November 30. The initiative also includes digitizing fresh enrollment applications and organizing meetings to review pending cases, promoting voter awareness through 'Election Pathshala' activities.

झारखंड ने 1 नवंबर से 12 दिन का 'होम-टू-रोल' सत्यापन अभियान शुरू किया है ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि सभी योग्य नागरिक चुनावी सूची में शामिल हों। बूथ स्तर के अधिकारी ड्राफ्ट रोल में छूटे हुए या आवश्यक फॉर्म जमा नहीं करने वाले व्यक्तियों की पहचान के लिए घरों का दौरा करेंगे। इस कवायद का उद्देश्य 30 नवंबर को अंतिम सूची के प्रकाशन से पहले स्थायी चुनावी रिकॉर्ड को अपडेट करना है। इस पहल में नए नामांकन आवेदनों का डिजिटलीकरण और लंबित मामलों की समीक्षा के लिए बैठकें आयोजित करना भी शामिल है, जो 'चुनाव पाठशाला' गतिविधियों के माध्यम से मतदाता जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देगा।
