Rejected Lover Pours Petrol, Attacks Woman

In Mysuru, Karnataka, a man poured petrol on himself and attempted to embrace a woman after she rejected his romantic advances. The incident occurred outside the Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering in the Vijayanagar police station limits. Police intervened and rescued the man, who has been identified as Chandan from Mandya district. The woman sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment at a private hospital, while Chandan is being treated at KR Hospital. Vijayanagar police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
