Supreme Court Stays ED Probe Against Pinarayi Vijayan in Payoff Case

The Supreme Court has stayed the investigation against former Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter, and son-in-law in the CMRL-Exalogic payoff case for seven days. The court reprimanded the Enforcement Directorate (ED), directing it to remain within its statutory limits and not interfere with other agencies' powers. The ED was told to proceed with its prosecution based on the scheduled offence without extending its authority.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूर्व केरल सीएम पिनराई विजयन, उनकी बेटी और दामाद के खिलाफ CMRL-Exalogic पेऑफ मामले में सात दिनों के लिए जांच पर रोक लगा दी है। कोर्ट ने Enforcement Directorate (ED) को फटकार लगाई और निर्देश दिया कि वह अपनी वैधानिक सीमाओं के भीतर रहे और अन्य एजेंसियों के अधिकारों में हस्तक्षेप न करे। ED को निर्देशित किया गया कि वह निर्धारित अपराध के आधार पर अपनी अभियोजन कार्यवाही करे और अपने अधिकार क्षेत्र का विस्तार न करे।
