UP Pharma Council, IIT Ropar Sign MoU for Research & Tech Development

The Uttar Pradesh Promote Pharma Council (UPPPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IIT Ropar and other entities to enhance collaboration in research, innovation, and technology development. This partnership aims to foster industry-academia ties, promote translational research, and develop pharmaceutical and healthcare technologies. The collaboration will focus on converting scientific discoveries into commercially viable solutions. It also seeks to support startups and MSMEs, build capacity, and facilitate knowledge exchange, leveraging existing pharmaceutical clusters in Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

उत्तर प्रदेश प्रमोट फार्मा काउंसिल (UPPPC) ने आईआईटी रोपड़ और अन्य संस्थाओं के साथ रिसर्च, इनोवेशन और टेक्नोलॉजी डेवलपमेंट में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस साझेदारी का उद्देश्य इंडस्ट्री-अकादमिक संबंधों को बढ़ावा देना, ट्रांसलेशनल रिसर्च को प्रोत्साहित करना और फार्मास्युटिकल और हेल्थकेयर टेक्नोलॉजी विकसित करना है। सहयोग वैज्ञानिक खोजों को व्यावसायिक रूप से व्यवहार्य समाधानों में बदलने पर केंद्रित होगा। यह उत्तर प्रदेश और हिमाचल प्रदेश में मौजूदा फार्मास्युटिकल क्लस्टर्स का लाभ उठाते हुए स्टार्टअप्स और MSMEs का समर्थन करने, क्षमता निर्माण करने और ज्ञान के आदान-प्रदान की सुविधा प्रदान करने का भी प्रयास करता है।
