Diwali celebrations in countries like Singapore, the USA, and several European nations will be illuminated by eco-friendly lamps and idols crafted from cow dung and lac in Prayagraj. A city-based organization, Bio-Ved Research Institute, has received bulk orders for 3.5 lakh lamps and 3 lakh idols of deities from a Noida-based exporter. These products are made by rural women and are designed to dissolve harmlessly into the soil after use.
