Andhra Pradesh Appoints Dinesh Kumar as Commissioner for 12th Pay Revision Commission

The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed former chief secretary Dinesh Kumar as the commissioner for the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC). This appointment follows an assurance by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to employee unions. The commission, tasked with revising employee pay, has been given one year from his assumption of charge to submit its report. Dinesh Kumar, a retired 1983-batch IAS officer, replaces Dr Manmohan Singh, who resigned in June 2024. The government has directed all departments to cooperate and provide necessary information to the commission.

आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने पूर्व मुख्य सचिव दिनेश कुमार को 12वें वेतन संशोधन आयोग (PRC) के आयुक्त के रूप में नियुक्त किया है। यह नियुक्ति मुख्यमंत्री एन चंद्रबाबू नायडू द्वारा कर्मचारी संघों को दिए गए आश्वासन के बाद हुई है। कर्मचारी वेतन संशोधन का काम कर रहे आयोग को अपना रिपोर्ट सौंपने के लिए पदभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से एक साल का समय दिया गया है। 1983 बैच के सेवानिवृत्त IAS अधिकारी दिनेश कुमार, डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह की जगह लेंगे, जिन्होंने जून 2024 में इस्तीफा दे दिया था। सरकार ने सभी विभागों को आयोग के साथ सहयोग करने और आवश्यक जानकारी प्रदान करने का निर्देश दिया है।
