He revealed that identical items were bought at vastly different prices across various civic bodies, leading to potential savings of ₹250 crore if standard rates were applied. Dubey stated that authorities are aware of all transactions and warned of impending action against those involved in corrupt practices.

मध्य प्रदेश के प्रधान सचिव संजय दुबे ने शहरी स्थानीय निकायों द्वारा GeM पोर्टल के माध्यम से ₹1134 करोड़ की खरीद में बड़ी गड़बड़ियों का खुलासा किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि विभिन्न निकायों में एक जैसी चीजें बहुत अलग-अलग कीमतों पर खरीदी गईं, जिससे अगर मानक दरें लागू होतीं तो ₹250 करोड़ की बचत हो सकती थी। दुबे ने कहा कि अधिकारी सभी लेन-देन से अवगत हैं और भ्रष्ट आचरण में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ जल्द कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है।
