'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend' OTT Release With Pay-Per-View Option Announced

Director Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend' will debut on JioHotstar with a pay-per-view streaming option after its theatrical run. This move aims to make the epic accessible to a wider Indian audience beyond cinema halls. Producer Namit Malhotra stated that while the ideal viewing is in IMAX 3D, the country's infrastructure necessitates alternative access. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026, coinciding with Diwali.

डायरेक्टर नितेश तिवारी की 'रामायण: राइज़ ऑफ़ ए लेजेंड' सिनेमाघरों में चलने के बाद जियोहॉटस्टार पर पे-पर-व्यू स्ट्रीमिंग विकल्प के साथ डेब्यू करेगी। इस कदम का मकसद महाकाव्य को सिनेमा हॉल के बाहर भी ज़्यादा भारतीय दर्शकों तक पहुँचाना है। प्रोड्यूसर नमित मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि भले ही आईमैक्स 3डी में देखना सबसे अच्छा है, लेकिन देश के इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को देखते हुए दूसरे तरीके से भी पहुँचाना ज़रूरी है। यह फिल्म, जिसमें रणबीर कपूर राम और यश रावण के रूप में हैं, 5 नवंबर 2026 को दिवाली के मौके पर दुनिया भर के सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज़ होगी।
