B.Tech Dropout Arrested for Burqa-Clad Jewel Heists Worth ₹70 Lakh

A 25-year-old woman, who dropped out of her B.Tech studies due to financial hardship, has been arrested in Hyderabad for a series of high-tech burglaries. Posing as a thief, she used a burqa to conceal her identity and a hand-held cutter to break into locked houses. Police recovered approximately ₹70 lakh worth of gold and silver jewelry, cash, and a new iPhone 17 from her possession. She had previously committed five major thefts across different police station limits. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.

आर्थिक तंगी के कारण B.Tech की पढ़ाई बीच में छोड़ने वाली 25 वर्षीय महिला को हैदराबाद में हाई-टेक चोरियों की एक श्रृंखला के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। चोर की तरह भेष बदलकर, उसने अपनी पहचान छिपाने के लिए बुर्का और बंद घरों को तोड़ने के लिए हैंड-हेल्ड कटर का इस्तेमाल किया। पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से लगभग ₹70 लाख के सोने और चांदी के गहने, नकदी और एक नया iPhone 17 बरामद किया। उसने पहले विभिन्न पुलिस स्टेशनों की सीमाओं में पांच बड़ी चोरियां की थीं। आरोपी को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
