DMK Questions Rahul Gandhi on SIR Stand, Asks if He Fears Actor Vijay

The DMK has questioned Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's stance on the special intensive revision (SIR) exercise in Tamil Nadu. DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai asked why Gandhi had not supported Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's call to dissolve state governments elected after SIR began. Annadurai further speculated if Gandhi was afraid of actor Vijay to speak on the issue in Tamil Nadu. This comes as INDIA bloc MPs protested against the Election Commission and the SIR process, alleging irregularities and undermining of democracy.

डीएमके ने तमिलनाडु में स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) को लेकर कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी के रुख पर सवाल उठाया है। डीएमके प्रवक्ता सरवनन अन्नादुराई ने पूछा कि गांधी ने SIR शुरू होने के बाद चुनी गई राज्य सरकारों को भंग करने के कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे के आह्वान का समर्थन क्यों नहीं किया। अन्नादुराई ने आगे अटकलें लगाईं कि क्या गांधी तमिलनाडु में इस मुद्दे पर बोलने से अभिनेता विजय से डरते हैं। यह ऐसे समय में आया है जब INDIA गठबंधन के सांसदों ने चुनाव आयोग और SIR प्रक्रिया के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया, जिसमें अनियमितताओं और लोकतंत्र को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया गया।
