NIA Arrests Suspect in West Bengal Linked to JMB Offshoot Conspiracy

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a suspect in West Bengal as part of a terror conspiracy involving an offshoot of Jama'at-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). The agency recovered digital devices from the accused. This arrest follows the September 29 detention of 13 individuals across Assam, West Bengal, and Kerala in connection with the same plot. An earlier charge sheet was filed on June 25 against 11 people.

नेशनल इन्वेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी (NIA) ने पश्चिम बंगाल में जमात-उल-मुजाहिदीन बांग्लादेश (JMB) के एक गुट से जुड़ी आतंकी साजिश के सिलसिले में एक संदिग्ध को गिरफ्तार किया है। एजेंसी ने आरोपी के पास से डिजिटल डिवाइस बरामद किए हैं। यह गिरफ्तारी इसी साजिश के संबंध में 29 सितंबर को असम, पश्चिम बंगाल और केरल में 13 लोगों की हिरासत में लिए जाने के बाद हुई है। इससे पहले 25 जून को 11 लोगों के खिलाफ चार्जशीट दाखिल की गई थी।
