PGIMER Chandigarh is planning to construct a dedicated six-feet wide pathway connecting all major buildings on its campus. This initiative aims to ensure safe and easy navigation for patients using wheelchairs and stretchers. The decision was made after hospital officials identified the need for unhindered patient movement during inspections. Administrative approval has been granted, and the drawing for the proposed path is finalized. This will be the first time PGIMER implements such a dedicated path to improve patient accessibility and convenience across its various blocks.

PGIMER चंडीगढ़ अपने कैंपस में सभी प्रमुख इमारतों को जोड़ने वाला एक समर्पित छह-फीट चौड़ा रास्ता बनाने की योजना बना रहा है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य व्हीलचेयर और स्ट्रेचर का उपयोग करने वाले मरीजों के लिए सुरक्षित और आसान आवागमन सुनिश्चित करना है। निरीक्षण के दौरान अस्पताल अधिकारियों द्वारा मरीजों की निर्बाध आवाजाही की आवश्यकता की पहचान करने के बाद यह निर्णय लिया गया। प्रशासनिक मंजूरी मिल गई है, और प्रस्तावित रास्ते का नक्शा अंतिम रूप दिया गया है। यह पहली बार होगा जब PGIMER अपने विभिन्न ब्लॉकों में रोगी पहुंच और सुविधा में सुधार के लिए इस तरह का समर्पित रास्ता लागू करेगा।
